Fire, water, air, earth - hardly any other region in Germany has been shaped by the elements in this way than the low mountain range Eifel. The landscape is an accelerated representation of the geological development of millions of years: valleys formed by rivers, extinct volcanic cones, peat-turned dry maars, bizarre rock formations and stratified heights. A landscape in motion, a region that enjoys special protection due to the creation of the Eifel National Park, UNESCO Global Geopark and nature parks.

Our services

We have furnished the top floor of our lovely house in the Vulkaneifel as a B&B. There are three spacious rooms, one bathroom, a cozy lounge with TV, the breakfast room and a coffee corner. The B&B has its own entrance. We have a large garden, where guests can relax. All the rooms have their own sink.


During your stay there is standard:

  • Breakfast
  • Coffee and tea in common room
  • Breakdown service for bicycles and motorbikes within a radius of 30 kilometers from Walsdorf
  • Wifi
  • Carport for (motor)bikes


The following services can be booked for a fee when booking the room or during your stay:

  • Sauna (on pre-order, so please contact us in advance for possibilities and prices)


You can also enjoy soft drinks, wine and beer, subject to availability.


Our B&B is completely non-smoking.


In consultation it is also possible to rent the entire floor as a group accommodation for your workshops. Please contact us directly for prices and availability.


Check-in is possible on the day of arrival from 4 pm, check-out is possible until 11 am on the day of departure.


Haus Kristal is unfortunately not suitable for children under the age of 12 and people with reduced mobility (depending on a wheelchair or walker).
